Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Burçak ERDAL-1983

After graduating from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting (2004-2008), she received her master’s degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Painting (2008-2010) and she PhD from Istanbul Arel University, Department of Graphic Design (2013-2016). In 2016, she worked as a faculty member at Istanbul Gelisim University, Department of Graphics. Since 2017, she started to work as a faculty member at Sinop University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Painting. In 2022, Erdal received the title of associate professor and still continues her academic and artistic works in Sinop.

The artist has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and opened 4 solo exhibitions abroad, including one in Varna, Bulgaria. The artist, whose works are in private collections, has also served as a jury member in many important competitions.
