She began her higher education at Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational Education, in the Department of Ready-Made Clothing Teaching. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2002 and her master’s degree in Clothing Industry and Fashion Design Education at Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences, in 2007. In 2005, she started working as a Research Assistant in the Textile Technology Program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Vocational School. In 2012, she began her Proficiency in Art studies at Haliç University, in the Department of Textile and Fashion Design, and completed it in 2015 with a thesis titled “Innovative Clothing Suggestions Supporting the Psychomotor Development of 6-9 Month-Old Babies.” Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor in the Clothing Production Technology Program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Vocational School. Her work focuses on computerized and manual pattern making, draping, baby clothing and toys, sustainable fashion design, and manipulation techniques.
