About Haldun Şekerci

He was born in 1974 in Antalya. Due to the fact that jewellery and goldsmith is his father’s profession, he actively worked in all areas of the jewellery profession until his university education at the journeyman-master level. In 2001, he graduated from Dumlupınar University Applied Jewellery Technology Department; In 2004, he graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Vocational Education, Handicrafts Department, Decorative Products Teaching Department. He completed his master’s degree at Gazi University Institute of Educational Sciences, Handicrafts Department, Decorative Products Education Department in 2006; He completed his doctorate at Gazi University Institute of Educational Sciences, Handicrafts Department in 2014. Between 2005-2015, he worked at Dumlupınar University Kütahya Vocational School, Department of Handicrafts, Jewellery and Jewellery Design programme. Since 2015, he has been working as the founding Head of Department and Head of Department in Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Handicrafts, Department of Jewellery Design and Manufacturing. In addition to these, he also carries out various administrative and academic duties at the University and Faculty. His papers and articles have been published in many national and international congresses, symposiums, journals. He has editorships in scientific publications. He has many national and international mixed and personal exhibitions. He is also a referee in various journals and a jury member in competitions.
